Chapter 1
Foreword
Thanks to Almighty God for the blessings of our group can
complete our simple paper. We hope our simple paper will help smooth the
learning process. We also hope that our simple paper can help to preserve the
culture Pangkep. Previously we apologize if our simple paper has many faults.
In this chapter, we will discuss a little introduction about
Cucuru Bayao.
Cucuru Bayao derived from two words that mean the cake Cucuru
cucuru and bayao which means egg. Cucuru bayao is a cake made with eggs. Cucuru bayao is
typical food from Pangkep and Maros regency. Cucuru bayao shape it round a bit
flat, and dark yellow. Cucuru bayao has a very sweet and tasty. For people with
diabetes should be - careful eating the cucuru bayao because the sugar content
is so high.
Cucuru bayao has meaning for ethnic Bugis. The form is like
the circle symbolizes the unity of ethnic Bugis themselves were never apart.
The color yellow as gold symbolizing glory, splendor and majesty so well mean
the custom events Pangkep.
Cucuru bayao can easily be obtained on special occasions like
a wedding that took place in the District Pangkep. At every wedding cake is
never absent to be present in the menu on bosara even serve as “ma'mata-mata” (“berpacin”
night) Pangkep customary at weddings.
If you want to make cucuru bayao, manufacturers must adhere to
certain rules, such as: manufacturers should be clean, wear nice clothes, and requires
patience.
Chapter 2
How to make
Cucuru Bayao
In this chapter, we will discuss further about the ingredients
and how to make Cucuru Bayao.
To make Cucuru Bayao, we must prepare ingredients including 20
duck eggs, 10 chicken eggs, 40 grams of walnuts, granulated sugar 1 liter and 2
liters of water.
While the steps to make Cucuru Bayao first we have to boil the
sugar with 2 liters of water. After that, break the eggs and take yellow, beat
until fluffy. Furthermore walnuts until finely chopped. Then heat the place for
steaming and enter the mold that has been spread with oil. If it is hot to
enter the egg mixture has given the walnuts in the cake pan. When cooking cucuru
bayao, open the lid every 2 minutes for cake in it expands. Finally, serve
cucuru bayao with sugar water.

Conclusion
In this final chapter we will discuss the conclusions of
Cucuru Bayao.
Cucuru bayao that contain lots of sugar make it taste sweet.
Sweet taste symbolizes how sweet and wonderful ethnic Bugis. As the nation's
next generations, we are particularly proud of the citizens should Pangkep
Cucuru Bayao. And we also have to preserve Cucuru Bayao as one of the customs
of ethnic identity in particular Bugis district Pangkep.
